What is Aside
Aside is an AI browser agent. You can install it from the link below.
asideskills is an independent site and is not affiliated with Aside. For questions about Aside's features, pricing, or accounts, check Aside's official documentation.
What is a skill
A skill is a file that tells Aside how to do a specific task: the steps to follow and the rules to keep. Instead of repeating the same instructions every time, you write them down once and Aside works the same way each time.
- Aside reads
<skill-name>/SKILL.mdinside your account's skills folder and uses it as a skill. - The top of
SKILL.mdcontains anameand adescription(what the skill does and when to use it).
For details on the format, see Understanding SKILL.md.
How to use skills from this site
- Browse Skills to find skills shared by other users. Upvotes, install counts, and comments can help you choose.
- Download
SKILL.mdfrom the skill's detail page. - Attach the file in an Aside chat and paste the install prompt shown on the detail page.
- Ask Aside whether it can use the skill to confirm the install.
See Installing a skill for step-by-step instructions. If you have a skill of your own, you can share it with others on Upload a skill.
Check before you install
A skill is a set of instructions Aside will follow. Before installing one, open SKILL.md and read what it actually tells Aside to do. Anyone can upload a skill, so be especially careful with skills that involve signing in, making payments, or sending data elsewhere. If a skill looks suspicious, use the Report button on its detail page.
